Young & Wise Africa
The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) needed a unified platform to educate youth on sexual and reproductive health. Their blogs, podcasts, and events were scattered across different sites, making resources hard to find. Because of the sensitive nature of these topics, the client also needed a "social-media style" space where users could interact with posts and comment anonymously.
To bridge these gaps, I built a visually engaging, multi-page platform using React and Remix that centralizes all of PPAG’s resources. I developed a robust custom Sanity CMS to streamline the management of blogs, podcasts, and events into a single dashboard. To address the need for safe engagement, I engineered a social media-inspired feed where the community can like and comment anonymously. The website has attracted over 2,200 unique visitors and over 3,000 total visits since launch.
