The primary goal was to build a comprehensive multilingual Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system from the ground up to digitize high-stakes healthcare workflows. The core challenge was implementing a massive, 50+ page interface that felt intuitive for busy doctors who have zero time for steep learning curves. Beyond the UI, the system had to be perfectly synchronized with the patient-facing mobile app, requiring a seamless flow of real-time data so that medical updates and appointments remained consistent across the entire ecosystem.

I led the development of the EMR from the ground up using React and i18next, delivering over 50 complex pages of highly functional UI. I collaborated closely with designers and backend engineers to translate healthcare workflows into clean, scalable interfaces optimized for high-speed clinical use for dozens of doctors. To solve the synchronization problem, I focused on a tight integration with the backend architecture, ensuring that data flow between the EMR and the patient-facing mobile app remained consistent and reliable. This contributed to the company securing over $160k in grants and awards, and wining the prestigious 2025 Galien Prize Africa in 3 categories: Best Pharmaceutical Product, Best Traditional Therapy Product, and Best Biotechnology Product.
